River Watch is a statewide volunteer water quality-monitoring program operated in partnership between River Science and Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) . Our mission is to work with voluntary stewards to monitor water quality and other indicators of watershed health and utilize this high quality data to educate citizens and inform decision makers about the condition of Colorado’s waters. This program is unique in its statewide focus and frequency of data collection.
I called last summer and was told by a biologist that training would be this year. Please advise.
Leo, sorry for the inexcusable delay in response, we are planning a training in the spring, look on this page for information regarding that training – we are planning it now. You are on our official training list now.
Hello! My name is Bridget Murphy and I’m a high school Junior. I volunteered for the ANS program through CPW last summer and heard about River Watch and would love to participate when a training is offered again. I realize with COVID-19, this could be a while, but please keep me in mind. I look forward to hearing in the future! Thank you!
